Un spectacle subaquatique 

Concert en direct, les oreilles dans l'eau

 

Dans la théorie du primate aquatique, Alister Hardy offre à l'Homme un ancêtre marin, un grand singe qui serait allé vers la mer et en serait revenu Homme.

 

La piscine, un lieu culturel ? Oui, et en maillot de bain !

 

Un costume insolite pour qui se voit le revêtir à un concert. Les musiciens sont hors de l’eau et le concert est transmis par un système de diffusion subaquatique. Le public, en liberté dans le bassin, est invité à évoluer et à tester les particularités de la diffusion de la musique, à nager ou à se laisser porter en planche, dans la détente d'un massage aquatique et sonore. 

 

Dans la version initiale, Nikodio projetait des dessins et aquarelles au plafond et au fond du bassin. Si ce dispositif est aujourd'hui abandonné, l'expérience n'en reste pas moins totale.

Can the swimming pool be a cultural venue? Yes!! And in a swimsuit!  An unconventional costume for someone preparing for a concert! The musicians themselves are not in the water, but the concert is transmitted through an underwater broadcasting system. The audience, let loose in the pool, are invited to move around, trying out the particular features of the underwater diffusion of the music. They can swim or just float, relaxing into a massage of water and sound.

 In the very first version of the show, animated pictures created live and direct were projected onto the ceiling for those who choose to float, and onto the bottom of the pool for those who dive, drawing the swimmer/listener into a full-scale sensorial experience. The live drawing are not presented anymore. however, it is still an utterly fantastic experience.
