Quand deux piliers du collectif rouennais des Vibrants Défricheurs et du fameux groupe PAPANOSH (lauréat jazz migration 2013 et « producteur-éleveur » d’un jazz pétillant, contemporain et métissé !) décident de jouer en duo, ça décoiffe terrible !
PETITE VENGEANCE c’est le retour  de l’énergie épatante et des collages foldingues du regretté Clusone trio (Bennink,Reiseger,Moore), c’est Johnny Cash burlesquement revisité par Ornette Coleman, c’est Bernard Lubat qui croise Raymond Scott (Tex Avery !), c’est la relecture de ritournelles tintinnabulantes de westerns imaginaires, c’est Sitting Bull en train de rire en lisant Tintin, c’est du jazz contemporain, burlesque et déjanté, joué par deux potaches titulaires de premiers prix de conservatoire !
Est-ce encore du jazz nous dirons les grincheux  ? Peu importe car  leur « swing » s’impose, naturel, ludique et malicieux,  et ces deux-là ont la qualité fondatrice du jazz: la générosité !
