On ne sait pas très bien d'où vient RédèR Nouhaj...
Homme de plusieurs folklores, il manie son violon comme le bûcheron sa hache : avec précision, humilité et gratitude pour l'arbre coupé.
Du Caucase où il fût plongé pendant un temps certain, le mix des cultures et la mélodie brute.
Des plaines bulgares traversées par les transhumances, les folles rythmiques et les costumes à poils longs.
De son enfance, la joie des objets sonores improbables.
Dans un concert spectaculaire, il nous ouvre les carnets de ses voyages imaginés. Du cinéma pour les oreilles...​​
Lors d'un voyage en Russie, Frédéric Jouhannet découvre par hasard chez un disquaire une collection de musiques traditionnelles enregistrées dans le Caucase des années 60 à 90. Depuis, il se passionne et s'approprie patiemment ce langage musical, jusqu'à créer Rédèr Nouhaj, un spectaculaire One-Man Band instrumental.

​No one really knows where RédèR Nouhaj comes from...
A man of many folklores, he wields his violin like a lumberjack wields his axe: with precision, humility and gratitude towards the tree that has been felled.
From the Caucasus, where he stayed for a while, comes a mixture of cultures and a raw melody.
From the Bulgarian plains, crossed by transhumance, come wild rhythms and costumes with long hair.
From his childhood comes the joy of unlikely sound objects.
In a spectacular concert, he opens the notebooks of his imaginary travels. Cinema for the ears...

During a trip to Russia, Frédéric Jouhannet stumbled upon a collection of traditional music recorded in the Caucasus between the 1960s and 1990s at a record store. Since then, he has developed a passion for this musical language and patiently mastered it, eventually creating Rédèr Nouhaj, a spectacular instrumental one-man band.
